I really didn't expect to like this book. I mostly favor mystery novels and detective fiction, so when I downloaded this free book, I figured I'd read a few pages and decide it wasn't for me...but I was wrong.
It was a quick read with a fast-paced (often racy) plot. Though the subject of proving paternity is a serious one (and treated as such by the author), the characters were light-hearted and even, at times, humorous.
Though I don't think this Harlequin romance book will change my mind about my favorite literary genre, it WAS a pleasant diversion from more serious stories of murder and the criminal mind.

I like reading books that I designate as "fluff" after I read some heavy hitters. I would recommend this book to those that tend to do the same. It was a quick read, but the story [.............] me right in. I finished it in one sitting and was never disappointed.

The plot is a chapter of that old TV program. That doesn't mean this isn't a very good story. The book is fast paced and you'll get hooked to the plot since the first page and you won't be able to close it till you finish it. This is my first MC's book and I'll be looking for more.

Jenna Baker had an affair with Tycoon Nick Falco and she has been trying to tell him for over a year that she was pregnant and now has twin boys. Jenna decides to try one last time to tell Nick - books a trip on his cruiseline and confronts him with the news. Excellent - could not put it down... Enjoy an afternoon escape.

I am a great fan of mystery stories and had never heard of Maureen Child. I downloaded this free offer after reading the reviews. I greatly enjoyed this story and I have purchased two additional books of hers.
