| Customer Reviews: My son loves this book! October 23, 2007 J9 (FL United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is perfect for my 6 year old son. He has really enjoyed working the puzzles all by himself. They are challenging enough to keep his interest, yet not too hard to discourage him. He loves checking his answers in the back to make sure he got them all right! I enjoyed reading about the authors and finding out it was a father and son team who wrote the book! Great book! We look forward to finishing it and getting all of the rest in the series!
My son loves this book December 11, 2007 Eleanor M. Kirkwood (Odessa, Fl.) My son is just about to turn 6 and loves working through these puzzles. He's constantly asking to do more and learning so much from them. It's great that I can see his mind working to solve these and that he gets so much enjoyment from doing them. There's some answers he does not get without help but it's at a level that really appeals to him. He also loves the variety of puzzles, jumping from one type to another. I can see him finishing this book in the near future and looking for the next one.
A Book That Proves Learning Can Be Fun! April 21, 2008 Kristin Schmitt (Dunedin, Florida) My three children each received a copy of this book for Christmas and I watched as their confidence and joy grew as they completed each puzzle. As a first grade teacher, I especially value the straight-forward approach that allows children to do the puzzles successfully, while utilizing the many skills it takes to be a good student. This book helps children with number and letter recognition, sequencing, phonics, addition, subtraction, and problem solving. This is a book that proves learning can be fun and I highly recommend it!
inspiring and informative April 11, 2010 Firoozeh T (MD, USA) My first grader son was very delighted to work on this puzzle book. For a few days He kept it with himself everywhere and work on the different puzzles. I think it was very inspiring for him and gave him some new information that he did not know before. He asked many question from his father and me. So it brings him opportunity to learn more.
fun puzzle book for 5-year-old August 11, 2010 Simpson (Atlanta, GA) I bought this for my five-year-old daughter to introduce her to puzzles and help her develop skills at solving problems. She enjoyed the book and sped through the puzzles in no time. It helps kids with logic and reasoning skills without being overly complex or discouraging.
